The Bowling Green chapter of Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) will meet on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the Unitarian-Universalist Church at 2033 Nashville Road in Bowling Green. The program will be presented by Christophre Woods, Director of the Owensboro AIDS Taskforce. Christophre grew up in Owensboro, and attended college in Washington, D.C. He will share with the Bowling Green PFLAG group what it was like in his journey where his being victimized by assaults – racial, sexual and physical - left him alone at the crossroads of black, gay, alone and hurt. Christophre is a member of PFLAG Owensboro. PFLAG meetings are open to the public. |
